The NSW Rural Health Research Alliance represents seven rural Local Health Districts who are working together to build research capability in rural NSW.
The Alliance was formed in May 2018 to support the generation and use of robust research that enhances the quality of life of regional, rural and remote communities in NSW and improves the delivery of health services.
The Chief Executives from the seven rural Local Health Districts provide executive oversight to the NSW Rural Health Research Alliance. The Chief Executives are supported by the Alliance Development Committee.
The Alliance Development Committee is a strategic committee that meets bimonthly to share information and discuss opportunities to progress this field of research to benefit rural communities. The committee members are representatives from each of the rural Local Health Districts and are responsible for research development within their organisation.
